0 iPad needs to cool down before you can use it

Today I make my iPad as GPS tracking in my car. After 20 minutes, I get the error message "iPad needs to cool down before you can use it" and can't do anything.I notes that the iPad is too hot. The temperature of the iPad must be between 0� and 35� C. So turning it off, moving to a cooler environment and let it to cool.
