0 PS3 Firmware v3.56 Released, Blocks Custom Jailbroken Firmware

It�s been a busy day for Sony so far, what with them launching a new handheld console today already. Now they�ve also released a software update for their PlayStation 3 bringing the version number up to 3.56.

Described as a �minor update�, the new update adds a security patch while also blocking 3rd party firmwares from being used.
Sony�s PS3 console has become the jailbreaker�s latest target recently and Sony isn�t taking it laying down.
Clearly Sony is going down the technology route to stop jailbreaking as well as the legal route.
