0 Turn Off Ping to extend iPad battery life

I noted the iPad runing iOS 4.3 had shorter battery life than older versions. There were no background apps and push-notification services running on my iPad. However, Ping services might be eating up battery juice.Ping is Apple social network and recommendation service. This isn't exactly be an important feature for me. To disable Ping, tap Settings > General > Restrictions, enable Restrictions
